Monroeville’s Meeting Facilities Alabama Southern, Nettles Auditorium CL Hybart House Claiborne Place Days Inn Holiday Inn Express Monroe County Public Library Monroeville Community House Monroeville Water Tower Conference Center Old Monroe County Courthouse/Museum Rikard’s Mill Southern Network Vanity Fair Golf and Tennis Club Additional Information: A member of VF Golf Club must sponsor all events. If a non-member is renting the facility, the sponsoring club member and the host or hostess for the event must sign the contract. The sponsoring member is responsible for the actions of guests and all damages that may occur. No food may be brought into the Club. Exceptions are wedding or other specialty cakes. Five working days prior to the event, the Club must have a guaranteed number of persons to be served. The hosts will pay for this guaranteed number plus any excess. No food will be taken from the Club after the event in cases where the full guaranteed number does not show for the event OR if there is any excess food. The maximum rental time is four hours per event. For extension of rental time, there will be an additional $75.00 per hour charge. No exceptions. The only decorations the Club will provide are what are in the Club at the time of the event. A florist may decorate the Club with the approval of the Club Manager. The florist or hostess is responsible for the cleaning and removal of decorations promptly following the conclusion of the event. There is a $50.00 charge for the use of the dance floor. If birdseed is used at a wedding reception, there is a $50.00 charge for the clean-up. No alcoholic beverages may be brought on the premises. The Club will secure bartenders for the event, at the hostesses’ expense. Only beer and wine will be offered. Arrangements can be made for the sale pf mixed drinks, provided the Club is given a list of liquor to be purchased one week prior to the event. Hostesses are responsible for notifying their guests that proper I.D. will be required to serve alcoholic beverages to their guests. The Club will provide all glassware, napkins, tablecloths, chairs, and tables unless otherwise stated. Events must be paid in full by the day of the event. |
