The Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club of Monroeville are pleased to announce the 4th annual Monroe County Rodeo in August in Frisco City, AL!
This year the rodeo weekend will begin on Friday, August 9th with another performance on Saturday, August 10th. The Monroe County Rodeo will be a family friendly event sanctioned by the National Cowboy Pro Rodeo Association and contracted with 5T Rodeo Company from Poplarville, MS.
Cowboys and Cowgirls from across the South will be coming to compete for the highest scores and the quickest times in all 8 traditional rodeo events including: Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding.
Our mission is to provide a premier rodeo that will support our commitment to promote the business community and to improve the quality of life in the Monroe County community. Through our efforts, we hope to attain a memorable experience for the community and participants. ​
Mutton Bustin Information
We are so excited for your interest in the Mutton Bustin' event at the Monroe County Rodeo on August 9th and 10th. Our goal is for everyone to have a safe, fun and memorable experience. Mutton Bustin' will start promptly
at 7 pm each night.
Pre-registration is required.

Requirements: 4- 8 years old, no more than
60 lbs., and must be 45" or less in height.
Participants must check in by
6:15pm each night at the announcers tent
at the back on the arena.
