Chamber Nominates 3 Local Businesses for

 2021 Alabama Small Business of the Year Awards

 

The Monroeville/Monroe County Chamber of Commerce recently nominated three Chamber members for the 2021 Small Business Awards of Alabama.  Presented annually by the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama (CCAA) and the Business Council of Alabama (BCA), the Small Business Awards of Alabama recognizes small businesses that are considered to be the state’s very best small businesses based on a variety of civic and professional standards. 


The Chamber nominated Hunters Run Bar & Grill in the “Emerging Small Business of the Year” category – operating less than 5 years. In the “Alabama Small Business of the Year” -1-10 employee category, Monroe Drugs was nominated and in the “Alabama Small Business of the Year” category – 11-50 employee category –Ziebach and Webb Timber Company was nominated.


Penelope Hines, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, stated, “The Chamber is proud to nominate these businesses for this prestigious award. They are all committed to the business community and the greater good of Monroe County.”
